Acupressure is a method of Fingertip medicine and a common feature about Eastern methods of Fingertip medicine is that these methods are based off of the belief that a form of energy that inhibits the body.
Acupressure is the use of therapeutic touch by stimulating the acupoints manually. Pressure is applied to the acupoints to allow for the tension to be released the energy (Ch’i) running freely through the meridian.

I would not preform scalp acupressure when a client is suffering from a serious illness, if the client is pregnant, if there is a history of cancer, hearts problems, brain injury, and recent wound or scarring.

Acupressure focuses on restoring the balance and harmonisation of the overall body by relieving pain, discomfort, tension and preventing further constrictions and imbalances.
Know how you respond to pressure because you need to know how distress manifest in you. Are you a person who needs a great deal of mental stimulation to release yourself from pressure? Do you get stressed in social interaction? Are you a person who perhaps likes to sit on the periphery of a party and just observe? Are you happier on a one to one basis? Are you a person who needs to lead? Do you need to lead to relieve the pressure from your life? What turns you on and what turns you off? By reflecting on these points it can help in coping with pressures in our lives.
There is many conditions that can be helped with Relaxation Therapy: any kind of tension or symptoms of stress caused by pressure; insomnia, sciatica, constipation, migraines/headaches; asthma; heart palpitations; anxiety attacks; uncontrollable temper; allergies; indigestion; eating disorders; obsessive behaviour; traumatic shock syndrome; impotence; frozen shoulder; irritable bowel syndrome; tinnitus; eczema and psoriasis; heart disease and attacks; shortness of breath; irritability; P.M.T.; menopause; rheumatic pain; and epilepsy.
Mediation is a fundamental state of deep relaxation that is extraordinarily nourishing the human spirit, metabolism, body and mind.

Cupping is a traditional, time- honoured treatment remaining favoured by millions of people worldwide because it is safe, comfortable and remarkably effective for many health disorders. It is the use of suction, rather than compression for bodywork ranging from myofascia release to lymphatic drainage – and everything in between! Cupping rapidly facilitates rigid soft tissue release, loosens and lifts connective tissues, breaks up and drains stagnation while increasing blood and lymph flow to skin and muscles in ways not possible using compression.
When the cups move, Negative Pressure Massage really feels great. The pulling action engages the parasympathetic nervous system, thus allowing a deep relaxation to move through the entire body. It is not unusual to fall asleep when receiving this treatment. People often surprised at how relaxed, warm and light they feel – hours and sometimes-even days afterwards.
Cupping Therapy causes tissues to release toxins, stimulate the lymphatic, skin and circulatory systems, clears colon blockages, reduce stretch marks and improve varicose veins.

On the deeper therapeutic level, Cupping is beneficial for many conditions including; but not only  Asthma, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, anxiety, fatigue, headaches, Fibromyalgia and Neuralgia.

For those who are unfamiliar to Cupping Therapy, a word on Cupping marks: the most common misunderstanding regarding one of the most powerful and beneficial after effects of Cupping is the marks that sometimes result, which are not bruises! Bruising is caused by impact trauma with compressed breakage of capillaries and a reactionary rush of fluids to the damaged location from the tissue injury. There is no compression in correctly performed suction cup therapy. There will also be edema in the area involving the coagulation of sticky proteins. The combining presence of these elements usually results in stagnation of circulation to the area - resulting in pain, dysfunction, and chronic conditions. Although it is quite common during Stationary Dry Cupping (left static for 5 - 20 minutes - see below) to achieve dramatic 'marks' or 'discolorations', the less aggressive action of moving the cups, minimizes the intensity and duration of the discolorations.

Women in Asia, Europe and Russia have been using these remarkable negative pressure facial exercises for rejuvenation and maintenance for generations.
Protocols for the face use the small cups to vacuum and lift the facial tissue and increasing the actions of lymphatic drainage. This method replicates the effects of equipment used in most aesthetic establishments.
The benefits include increased circulation and nutrients brought to the skin and enhanced absorption of facial topicals. The drainage of stagnant fluids from stagnant areas will reduce edema and chronic puffiness. Lines, wrinkles and scar tissue soften from Cupping, making it an effective and surprisingly relaxing facial treatment.
Sinus infections and inflammation are also directly relieved by the loosening and draining effects of the cups, often resolving issues patients resort to more invasive procedures for relief.

Reflexology is known as a method for activating the healing powers of the body and is great at reducing stress and inducing deep relaxation. Dr. William H. Fitzgerald is a specialist in Reflexology, which he discovered and formulated.

Reflexology is extremely effective foot massage based on the principle of reflex points on the hands and the feet. These correspond to each of the organ and structures in the body and are linked to those organs by energy channels, zones, and meridians.

If an illness or imbalance occurs in the body than the corresponding energy channels become blocked and a Reflexology Massage is aimed to destroy these blocks and allow the energy to flow freely again. So this restores the body’s natural balance and good health.

Reflexology affects pain because reflexology causes endorphins in the brain to be released which act as the body’s natural pain relieving agent.
